Water Building Resort to be a swanky water making hotel

This is not a joke, as this sustainable building called Water Building Resort is capable of converting the air into water. It is needles to say that due to global warming we could be lacking of water. Designed by architect Orlando de Urrutia, this ecologically friendly building is set to become the first building with such a capacity.

In order to obtain solar power, De Urrutia plans to have a facade facing to the south with mounted photovoltaic glass. Its northern façade features some gratings permitting ventilation with Teex Micron Atmospheric Water Generators designed to turn condensation and humid air into potable water.

Working at its full capacity, an AWG system is capable to make from 35 000 to 109 000 gallons of water on a daily basis. This intelligent water building resort is projected for humid areas. Shaped like a drop, it appears to be much more than a drop the ocean with a restaurant, an aquarium, sport gyms, exhibition rooms as well as spa cervices.

Its water purification facility is expected to be located on the bottom floor to remove contaminants from the rain water and sea water to finally make it drinkable water while its technological investigation center is committed to control the quality of water.

The facade of this swanky hotel is engineered to face the sun to make most use of its energy in order to purify water. Its TeexMicron generator is designed to operate in a humid climate with temperature varying from 20 to 40 degrees centigrade with 30 to 95 percent humidity.

This sumptuous resort also comes with wharf while having both an indoor and outdoor aquariums. This sustainable building includes a filter system, desalination designed to clean marine salt water as well as a water tank. The water cleaning system makes use of evaporation and condensation happened at night. The TeexMicron is capable to produce of up to 5 000 liters of water which is downright exciting.
